Morphae is a multidisciplinary artist, model, and drag queen from Brussels, recognized for her participation in the second season of Drag Race Belgium, where she captivated audiences with her creature drag and surreal performances with dark and poetic undertones. By merging her various interests in biology, medicine, psychoanalysis, and mutation, she offers us an artistic universe aimed at repositioning the question of gender and evolution in our society. In Greek mythology, Morpheus is described as the deity bringing sleep, represented with butterfly wings, ready to spread dreams among mortals. It is this chimeric identity of our drag artist that we wanted to highlight, particularly through this divine aspect that this character represents: on one side, dreaminess, and on the other, the fragility and ephemerality of the butterfly.
